Coming Q3 2026

CME credits in development.

The Interprofessional is pursuing AMA PRA Category 1 accreditation for the weekly essay through a joint-providership arrangement with an ACCME-accredited institutional partner. The target launch is Q3 2026.

Once active, physicians and other CME-eligible clinicians who read an essay and complete a short post-reading assessment will be able to claim AMA PRA Category 1 credit, typically one credit per essay. Every essay published on this site now includes structured learning objectives in its frontmatter — those objectives become the basis of the CME content once accreditation activates. Reading the essays before accreditation does not earn retroactive credit, but the content is the content.
